This sword was made by Seki resident Mori Shunji in the Showa period (1926-1989) and has a blade length of 70.2 cm, making it an impressively long sword. It has a well-balanced form with a robust construction of 29.5 mm in original width and 7.6 mm in original weight, and a graceful warp of 1.4 cm. This work shows the mastery of the swordsmiths who inherited the traditions of Seki City during the Showa period.
