In total, more than 30 craftsmen are involved before a single piece of armour is finished.
Rather than being pressed by machine, as is the case with mass-produced items, each piece is pressed by hand, like a plank.
There are no blueprints.
The craftsmen have memorised the specifications of dozens of different armours and produce them without the use of blueprints.
